For Catholics, the Sacrament of Baptism is the first step in a lifelong journey of commitment and discipleship. Whether we are baptized as infants or adults, in Baptism, the sign of the pouring of the water represents "immersion" in the life of Christ and the Church.
Parents should contact the Rectory at 516-541-3270 at least one month prior to the preferred Baptism date. Baptisms are offered on the second and fourth Sunday of the month at 1 p.m. A baptismal preparation class that all parents must attend takes place on the second Sunday of each month after the 10:30 a.m. Mass.
Adults who are interested in becoming Catholic, or who have never received the Sacraments of First Communion and/or Confirmation and would like to receive them, please call the Rectory.
